LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Patients of three Baptist Health doctors in southern Indiana are left with questions after their abrupt exits.
Baptist Health Floyd is not saying why and hasn't answered questions about the departures, calling it a "personnel matter."
Friday afternoon, the hospital group released the following statement.
“Patients of physicians who leave the organization are notified of their departure with steps being taken to support care. Baptist Health Medical Group Cardiology is calling patients with existing appointments to reschedule with another provider. Additionally, patients without current appointments are being supported through the transition to another provider and are encouraged to contact the office with any questions, as continuity of care remains a top priority.”
No other information was immediately available.
