LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A middle school teacher for Hardin County Schools has died.
Megan Hobbs taught Gifted and Talented Education at East Hardin Middle School. Hardin County Schools said she was a vital member of the school.
"Her impact on students, fellow staff members and our community will last forever," Hardin County Schools posted. "Her passion for student growth was remarkable and she deeply valued the love her students had for her. She was truly dedicated to East Hardin and she gave everything she had each day."
Hardin County Schools has a Crisis Response Team of licensed and trained school professionals that will be at the middle school July 15 from 1-3 p.m. to meet with people who need support.
