LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Firefighters in southern Indiana rescued a cat from a trailer fire Monday evening.
Monday, the Seymour Fire Department responded to a fire at Village Green Trailer Park. One resident safely evacuated before crews arrived.
During a search of the home, firefighters found a cat overcome by smoke. Using a pet oxygen mask, they revived the animal, which was soon “back on his paws,” the department said.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported. Fire officials contacted the American Red Cross to assist the residents. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
