LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Former UK star and current NBA player Demarcus Cousins traded in his jersey for a red suit last night.
Cousins dressed up as Santa Wednesday night, and took kids on a shopping spree. He spent more than $15,000 to buy gifts for 100 underserved kids at a Sacramento Walmart.
"Because I was one of the unfortunate kids coming up, so I know how it feels, and I don't want those kids to feel like i did," Cousins said.
Kids got to pick out their gifts ranging from video games to all kinds of toys.
