LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Greater Louisville Inc. celebrated the opening of its new downtown headquarters on Tuesday.

A grand opening celebration was held at the new headquarters inside PNC Tower on South 5th Street.

GLI is the city's Chamber of Commerce. Its primary goal is to grow the local economy.

"We're talking with prospective companies that are looking at relocating to Louisville, expanding in Louisville, and it's nice to be able to show them the different areas of downtown just by being in our meeting space," GLI President and CEO Sarah Davasher-Wisdom said.

The new space, occupying the whole 23rd floor, has 17,000 square feet, 11 offices, 40 workstations, five conference rooms, a board room, and amenities such as a mother's room and staff library.

GLI moved to the new space from its previous location on Main Street, which it called home since 2002. It announced plans to relocate to PNC Tower back in February.
