LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Facetime has a new competitor.
Google has released its free video-calling service, called Duo. It allows users to make calls between IOS and Android devices -- something Facetime can't do.
Duo opens to a split-screen view of your front camera and recently dialed contacts. If you don't want to answer a call, Duo will ring your phone for up to a minute before it gives up.
If you're already on the phone, it will send the caller a message saying you're unavailable. After you hang up, it will say you missed the call.
