LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Valley Station man got more than just groceries while shopping.

Charles Stallard bought a Kentucky Lottery scratch-off ticket while shopping for groceries at Price Less Foods on Dixie Highway.

He scratched the ticket off in his truck and realized he won the game’s $150,000 top prize.

“I didn’t get much sleep all weekend,” Stallard said.

He ended up walking away with a check for $108,000.

After paying off his debts, he plans on fixing his boat and fishing the rest of the year.

“For the first time in my life, I’m not in debt," Stallard said. "I get to pay my house off.”

Price Less Foods will get $1,500 for selling the winning ticket.
