Louisville's Habitat ReStore was opened to create a sustainable source of non-designated income for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville through sales of donated building materials, furniture, appliances and landscaping while making a positive environmental impact by diverting these otherwise useful items from the landfill.

Habitat ReStore provides an affordable alternative for everyone in our community to purchase new and gently used building materials

Money raised by ReStore supports Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville in its mission of creating affordable home ownership opportunities.

Habitat ReStore strives to provide quality merchandise at excellent values to our customers.

This saves tons of perfectly good materials from going into our landfill.

Volunteers keep Habitat Restore moving.

People who donate their time range in age from 18 to 85 and do everything from customer service in the store to sorting and pricing donations in the warehouse.

In 2010, volunteers helped process and sell over 2 million pounds of donated materials.

They need Volunteers to work in the Warehouse, Customer Service, and DeConstruction departments.
