LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The former site of the North End Cafe in the Highlands didn't stay vacant for long.
La Suerte opened last week at 2116 Bardstown Road near Douglas Boulevard.
The Latin restaurant offers menu items like seviche, quesadillas and enchiladas.
"La Suerte" is Spanish for "fortune" or "luck."
The North End Cafe location closed in February, but the original restaurant on Frankfort Avenue is still open.
