LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Hollywood celebrities are making an investment in Kentucky's Senate race.
Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes, who is running for Mitch McConnell's seat, is receiving financial support from Jerry Seinfeld, Danny DeVito, and Barbra Streisand. They are on a long list of contributors to Grimes' first fundraising report to the Federal Election Commission.
Also giving money to her campaign -- Ben Affleck, Woody Allen, Nicholas Cage, Ted Danson, and Ben Stiller.
Much of that money came from a fundraiser hosted in Los Angeles last month by the chief executive officer of DreamWorks Animation.
