LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Many people who partied too hard last night were still able to start 2015 on a high note.

About 400 people came out for the "Hangover Classic" which is a 10-mile and 5-K run.

The most popular New Year's resolution is often to get in shape, so organizers say there's no better way to start working on that goal than running. Many people are there for friends and fitness.

"Lots of times you get to see a lot of friends to start the new year - get to see some smiling faces, people starting New Year's resolutions and just a great way to get out and have some fun," said April Woo, a runner.

Organizers say the Hangover Classic has been taking place on New Year's Day for about 30 years.
