LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Interstate 65 near Hospital Curve in downtown Louisville is open again following a weekend closure. 

The left and center lanes on I-65 North and the left lane on I-65 South were closed over the weekend for road work. Crews replaced expansion joints between East Broadway and the Kennedy Bridge.

Crews also applied a new high-friction adhesive to the surface to make the road less slick during wet weather.
