LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An Indiana prison officer was arrested after police allege that she tried to smuggle contraband.

Marrisa Swimm, 24, a custody officer at the Branchville Correctional Facility in Perry County, is facing charges of official misconduct and trafficking with an inmate.

The warden said Swimm tried to smuggle contraband, but would not say what it was.

The Indiana Department of Correction had been investigating Swimm since August.
