LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The missing mother and her three children from Jeffersonville who was reported missing on Monday evening has been reported safe.

According to the Jeffersonville Police Department, Kayla Martin, 34, and her three children, ages 4, 9, and 11, were last seen leaving their home in the 1200 block of Birchwood Drive around 6 p.m. on Monday.

A news release from Jeffersonville Police Department Detective Division said Martin and her children were walking toward Highland Dog Park on Spruce Drive when they did not return home.

Jeffersonville Police Department said Martin made contact with a family member and said she is getting the resources she needs at this time.
