LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Jeffersonville Police have surveillance photos of a van they say a man was driving when he attempted to contact children near the playground at Maple Elementary on Friday.
The man was seen outside the playground attempting to make contact with children at Maple Elementary School Friday, according to Jeffersonville Police.
Police began investigating what they call “suspicious activity” after an older white male, reportedly in his 60s, was parked in an old maroon minivan next to the playground and may have been trying to lure kids to his vehicle.
Jeffersonville Police say the man had gray hair and left the area before police got there. He was seen about 1:00 p.m. Friday afternoon.
