Jeffersonville Fire Deputy Chief Mike McCutcheon said flames were going 20 feet in the air.
"It was a metal building — a metal out building — so metal is going to conduct and radiate heat quite a bit," McCutcheon said. "So those guys were faced with a hot challenge of getting water put on the fire and knocking it down quickly as possible."
The building was filled with electrical equipment. There wasn't much left of the building except a pile of scorched metal once the flames were out.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Jeffersonville Fire Marshal's Office.
Coronado Stone is a natural stone supplier business. It makes stone veneer, thin brick, tile and precast products for use in home interiors and exteriors.
