LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Humane Society is celebrating a major milestone this week: 140 years in business.
KHS was founded in 1884 and is the state's oldest animal welfare organization. The nonprofit is also Kentucky's largest pet adoption agency.
KHS is also selling limited-edition T-shirts to mark the occasion, which you can buy online. The proceeds will directly benefit the organization.
