LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Kentucky nonprofit is taking safe, clean water to Georgia and victims of Hurricane Helene.
Waterstep took its mobile water treatment plant to Augusta, Georgia, on Thursday.
The organization is working with the state's emergency responders to take mobile emergency water treatment systems to residents without power, food or water.
Waterstep said it is still waiting for authorization from officials in North Carolina and Tennessee to bring its plant there to help.
