LOUISVILE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Drivers who normally use the toll bridges to travel back and forth from Kentucky to Indiana should brace for potential delays for the next week with lane closures expected while crews inspect RiverLink's tolling equipment.Ā
The maintenance is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. Wednesday on the Lewis and Clark bridge, with alternating closures of both the inside and outside lanes along with shoulders. Those closures are expected to continue until 5 a.m. Thursday.
Similar lane and shoulder closures are scheduled for the Kennedy and Lincoln bridges from Friday through Monday, occurring nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.Ā
Also, the exit at Court Avenue (Exit 0) from the Lincoln bridge in Indiana will be closed Tuesday as part of the project.Ā
Drivers are advised to plan their routes accordingly and allow for extra travel time.
