LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Legos have taken over Fort Wayne, Indiana, one brick at a time.Â
Dozens of Lego exhibits and displays filled the Grand Wayne Center for the "Brickworld" event. There were sculptures of everything from aircraft carriers to factories with moving parts -- and many of the lego sculptures were built by local enthusiasts.Â
"We got everything from the Old Fort in Fort Wayne, to the USS Missouri, to sculptures, a mosaic of Billy Murray, big space station, some castle stuff, some Star Wars of course," said Bryan Bonahoom, executive director of Brickworld. "It's Lego!"
The Brickworld events are held in only a handful of cities each year.Â
The Lego expo will be in Indianapolis in March.Â
