LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police said a man was hit and killed Monday night on the ramp from Interstate 265 North to Interstate 65.
LMPD spokesperson Beth Ruoff said in a release that officers responded to reports of a pedestrian being hit on the ramp around 10:30 p.m. Ruoff said it appeared the man attempted to cross the roadway and was hit.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Edward Patterson, 39, died of multiple blunt force trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.4
LMPD's Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation.
