LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Business is booming at one Jefferson County High School.

Southern High School has officially opened a brand new cafe on campus. 

The Hot Spot is run out of the school cafeteria, but is completely run by students. But the cafe doesn't only serve up food, students can also rent laptops to surf online.

But this new adventure isn't the first for the business magnet school.

"We of course also have our class act credit union so it's just across the hall, we ave a book store," says Southern High School principal Bryce Hibbard "So right now, for students to participate in business wise, we have 3 small businesses right here in this area."

15 laptops were donated to the school by Humana. Hibbard also says food items will soon be added to the cafe's menu.
