LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 3-year-old Louisville boy with a rare form of brain cancer came home Thursday to a big surprise.

Trey Lowman had surgery at Norton Children's Hospital earlier this year and was then sent to Cincinnati Children's Hospital for radiation and more treatment.

While he was away, local nonprofit Child's Spirit teamed up with Lisa Lyn Designs to give his room a makeover. It's filled with bright colors and dinosaurs for the brave little boy.

Trey's family said the makeover gave him a fun place to come home to.
