LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 14-year-old girl got the surprise of a lifetime, thanks to a generous Louisville attorney.
Injury Lawyer Sam Aguiar is sending Lola Rosenbaum and her mom to the Taylor Swift Eras Tour next week in Indianapolis.
Earlier this month, Aguiar created quite the buzz when his firm raffled off eight concert tickets as part of a social media campaign.

“Everybody wants to see Taylor Swift right now, so we thought it would be a good incentive,” Aguiar said. “We got a ton of followers, and it was really fun to see the reactions when we told the winners they were going to the concert.”
On a whim, Aguiar bought two more tickets and decided to handpick the final recipient.
“We looked around at several deserving families, and when I saw Lola’s smile and learned more about the Rosenbaum family, I was hooked,” he said.
Aguiar was so impressed with the Rosenbaum’s resiliency. The family has two kids with down syndrome, one of whom is also severely autistic. Because of that, the Rosenbaum’s have formed close relationships with local charities like Down Syndrome of Louisville and Kosair for Kids. They’ve raised thousands of dollars for the nonprofits and work to promote the services they offer.
WDRB was there as Aguiar surprised Lola with the tickets this weekend. Lola jumped up and down for the next hour.
“I’m so excited,” she said repeatedly.
Aguiar gifted the family an additional $2,000 for their stay in Indianapolis, Taylor Swift themed T-shirts with their names on them, and generous $1,000 donations to both Down Syndrome Louisville and Kosair for Kids, in the Rosenbaum’s names.
He also brought a slew of baseball themed gifts for Lola’s younger brother, Ollie. Mom, Sarah Rosenbaum, was moved to tears.
“Having two kids with disabilities comes with its challenges,” she said. “We do try to embrace life and do our best to keep the kids involved, and it’s not always easy. We could not be more grateful and thankful.”
Sarah Rosenbaum calls the timing of the gift a “full circle moment.”
She told WDRB that Lola became a Swiftie a year ago when she went and saw the Eras Tour Movie at the theatre with a friend.
She has since watched the movie at least once a week, and even dressed up as Swift for Halloween at Boo at the Zoo.
“We just never thought she would get an opportunity like this. I’m in shock,” Rosenbaum said. “We are so excited, we might go up to Indy a day early to prepare.”
Aguiar had one request for Lola. He asked that she send some pictures of her having the time of her life at the show.
“I couldn’t have picked a better family,” Aguiar said. “The Rosenbaum’s dedication to raising money and staying positive inspired me to give, too. We do a lot at our firm to help with things like disaster relief and local giving and I’m so lucky to be surrounded by a great team, this just feels so good.”
