LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville couple welcomed UofL Health's first baby of 2024 just before 6 a.m. Monday.
Jesse Mattingly and Desmond Gibbs are the proud parents of Kobe, a 10-pound, 5-ounce baby boy born at 5:40 a.m. Jan. 1 at UofL Hospital.
"Starting off the new year with a precious young one is an inspiring way to ring in 2024," Lisa Bunnell, manager of labor and delivery at UofL Health – UofL Hospital’s Center for Women and Infants, said in a news release Monday morning. "We thank all the moms and dads for allowing our team to share their exciting expansion of their family."
