LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- No one was injured after two houses caught fire on West Market Street, according to Louisville Fire.
Firefighters responded to a vacant building on fire in the 2500 block of West Market Street around 5:11 a.m. Crews arrived on scene within three minutes to a heavy fire at two residential homes.
Capt. Donovan Sims with Louisville Fire Department said defensive operations were used on the main fire building to protect surrounding homes. It took 32 firefighters around 28 minutes to get control of the fire.
Sims said no one was found in the homes.
Louisville Fire Arson unit is investigating the fire.Â
