LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville Metro Police cruiser was involved in a crash Saturday morning in the Russell neighborhood.
John Bradley, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a crash just before 10 a.m. at S. 22nd Street between a marked LMPD cruiser and a Honda.
Police said a woman, who was a passenger in the Honda, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to UofL Hospital.
According to police, LMPD was headed south on 22nd Street when the Honda pulled onto 22nd Street from eastbound Eddy Street and crashed with the police cruiser.
LMPD wasn't responding and was just driving normally without lights or sirens.
No charges are expected, police said.

There are about a dozen officers and a handful of firefighters. On top of the damaged LMPD car, there’s a red car that appears to have hit a tree. It’s unclear how many people were hurt. @WDRBNews pic.twitter.com/y02WAlzNWJ
