LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 10-year deal has been reached with Kentucky Venues to continue Louisville's Bourbon and Beyond and Louder Than Life music festivals.
According to a news release, the deal with Danny Wimmer Presents keeps the festivals at the Highland Festival Grounds from 2026-2035. This incentive package also solidifies a partnership with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Louisville Metro Government, Kentucky Venues and key tourism and hospitality partners.
"Louisville, KY has become an integral part of who we are, and we are excited to strengthen our connection by partnering with the city of Louisville and Commonwealth of Kentucky for the next 10 years," Wimmer said in a news release. "Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life have truly found their home here, representing the incredible collaboration and spirit we’ve fostered over the past decade. This partnership is about more than just festivals; it’s about investing in a community that has welcomed us with open arms."
In 2024, both festivals generated over $33 million in economic impact.
"Cheers to 10 more years of music festivals known throughout the country, and the world. Bourbon and Beyond and Louder Than Life celebrate Kentucky’s culture and bring people together through music. Thanks to Danny Wimmer for making Louisville his new Kentucky Home for another decade," said Governor Andy Beshear in a news release.
This year, Bourbon and Beyond is happening at the Highland Festival Grounds Sept. 11-14, with Louder Than Life to follow Sept. 18-21.
