LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Bob's Discount Furniture will make its debut in southern Indiana this summer.
The furniture retail chain will take over the former Joann Fabrics store on Veterans Parkway in Clarksville, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
Joann Fabrics closed the location in 2025 as part of a bankruptcy proceeding, along with several other regional locations.
The 24,961-square-foot store will employ 20 people, LBF reported. It's the first Bob's Discount Furniture in southern Indiana, and second in the region. One of two Kentucky locations is on the Outer Loop in Louisville. Other Indiana locations include Indianapolis, Avon, Fort Wayne and South Bend.
According to LBF, Bob's has more than 200 home furniture stores across 26 states. It's headquartered in Manchester, Connecticut.
While there isn't an exact timeline for the store's opening, a spokesperson told LBF renovations started in mid-March with the hopes of having a summer opening.
