LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 13-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday night in connection with a triple shooting that left two people dead and a third person in critical condition in Louisville's Algonquin neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police officers responded to the reported shooting around 6:30 p.m. at the 1600 Block of Brashear Drive.
Officers arrived and found three victims: one male and one female — who both died at the scene — and one male who was taken to UofL Hospital with critical injuries.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is still investigating. Department spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said just before 11:30 p.m. that police arrested and charged a 13-year-old boy with two counts of murder, assault, tampering with physical evidence and being a minor in possession of a handgun.
