LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- He was arrested on Friday and replaced on Monday.

Louisville's Chief Financial Officer Steve Rowland is now on unpaid leave. Rowland is facing charges of alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct.

He and Elizabeth Hoffman, who is the Majority Caucus Director for Metro Council, were both arrested Friday. The pair were kicked out of an El Nopal restaurant after customers complained about their behavior.

According to arrest reports, Rowland and Hoffman then got into an SUV where it is believed they were having sexual relations.

Daniel Frockt, who is the city's budget director, was named interim CFO this morning.

The mayor's office tells WDRB that Frockt will serve in that position for an "undetermined amount of time."
