LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died on Tuesday afternoon after crashing his car into the front yard of a home in the Algonquin neighborhood.
The Jefferson County Coroner identified the victim as Keith A. Sykes, 63, of Louisville.
According to a news release from LMPD spokesperson Matthew Sanders, officers responded to a call around 4:30 p.m. of a serious injury collision near the intersection of Algonquin Parkway and 22nd Street.
Upon arrival, officers found it to be a single vehicle collision.
Sanders said Sykes was unresponsive and had life threatening injuries. He was transported to UofL Hospital in downtown Louisville where he died.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating.
