TRIMARC I-71 south of I-265 on 1-14-26

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Several crashes across the Louisville and southern Indiana areas stalled traffic Wednesday evening as road conditions worsened due to snow.

TRIMARC traffic cameras showed a crash on the Interstate 65 South ramp from Interstate 64/Interstate 71 just outside downtown Louisville.

Another crash was reported on I-64 East under the Second Street Bridge in downtown Louisville, and another on I-65 North at I-64, not far from the I-65 South ramp crash.

An additional crash happened on I-71 North in the area of Interstate 265 in Louisville, slowing traffic at the I-265, I-71 interchanges in east Louisville. Conditions also caused problems on the East End Bridge in both directions of I-265. Indiana Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed two semitrucks stopped on the bridge itself.

In southern Indiana, traffic cameras from the Indiana Department of Transportation showed traffic slowed on I-65 North heading into Jeffersonville and Clarksville.

Traffic also caused delays on I-265 North and South near Grant Line Road in New Albany.

A crash was also reported on I-65 North and South near Memphis, Indiana.

It's unclear whether there were any injuries reported.
