LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead after a shooting in east Louisville early Saturday morning.

It happened around 7:15 Saturday morning on La Grange Road near UPS Drive. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He died at the scene, according to LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell. 

LMPD's homicide unit is handling the case.

Police say they have no suspects at this time.
