LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the city's St. Denis neighborhood Thursday evening.

The shooting was reported at 6:50 p.m. initially in the 3600 block of Seaton Hill Drive, but the scene was later updated to the 5000 block of Kaufman Lane, according to LMPD Spokesperson Aaron Ellis. That's off Cane Run Road and Terry Road, not far from Rockford Lane and Cane Run Park.

Once on scene, officers found a man outside with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Ellis said.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation. Ellis said detectives believe "all parties are accounted for" in the case. It's unclear if any arrests were made.
