LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Bats fans likely will see some changes to Slugger Field once the season begins.
A Metro Council committee passed a resolution Tuesday giving a company more than $126,000 to expand the netting on the first and third base lines.
Metro Council has the final say, but it likely will pass the resolution.
The team said it needs the netting to be consistent with Major League Baseball's safety standards.
