LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A motorcyclist died Saturday at the hospital after losing control on Interstate 265 and crashing into a pole near New Cut Road on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a crash around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on I-265 southbound at mile marker 5.
Police said a motorcyclist was speeding and swerving in and out of traffic when he lost control and went off the roadway. The motorcyclist then crashed into a pole in a wooded area and was ejected.
He was taken to UofL Hospital and died three days later.
