LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Can you smell that smell?
Several people in the downtown Louisville area have been complaining about a sewage smell that permeated parts of the city Monday morning, according to a social media post by the Metropolitan Sewer District.
MSD attributes the smell to "a nice, dry day" which, "unfortunately can mean an increase in odors."
"Our crews are working diligently to respond to as many odor complaints as possible," the agency posted. "They are inspecting catch basins, flushing lines with water and using deodorizers to decrease odors."
The public is encouraged to report odors by calling (502) 540-6000 or by filling out this form online.
