LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Veterans in Hardin County will soon have more options for health care closer to home after a new outpatient clinic broke ground Thursday in Elizabethtown.
The is expected to expand appointment availability and bring a wider range of services to veterans in central Kentucky.
Officials said the goal is to make it easier for veterans to get care without long travel times, especially for routine visits and ongoing treatment.
Local leaders gathered for the groundbreaking and called the project a major step in improving access to care for Kentucky veterans.
The clinic will open once construction is complete.
