LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A library in Oldham County is preparing for its grand reopening.

The old South Oldham Library is reopening as the Crestwood Library in 2024.

The public is invited to a ribbon-cutting on Thursday, Jan. 4, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event includes kids activities and free library swag.

The library said books returned to the library's book drop after Dec. 21 may not be checked in until Jan. 3, but residents won't be fined.

Large items like electronics need to be dropped off at the La Grange or Goshen branches of the Oldham County Public Library.
