LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person is dead after a crash involving a semi and a vehicle that happened Sunday morning in east Louisville.
A MetroSafe supervisor confirms the crash happened on Old Henry Road at the Gene Snyder. A call about the crash was received at 5 a.m.
Louisville Metro Police say a semi that had exited the Snyder and went on the westbound ramp onto Old Henry Road was struck from behind by a vehicle.
Officials say the vehicle's driver, who was a male, died at the scene. That person's name has not been released.
Police say no charges are expected.
Old Henry Road is currently shut down while LMPD's Traffic Unit investigates the case.
