LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- PGA Tour golfers played putt-putt Wednesday for a good cause.

The golf professionals visited Norton Wendy Novak Diabetes Institute on East Chestnut Street ahead of the first round of the ISCO Championship on Wednesday.

A mini course was set up in the lobby where everyone could play and learn plenty of tips. They also toured the institute's Christensen Family Sports & Activity program, which helps young athletes with diabetes safely reach their full potential.

"A big thing with the tour is we like to impact the communities that we play in," PGA Tour player Ben Martin said. "Anytime we get a chance to partner with the local community, specifically with what the tournament's doing in that community, all of us love to be part of that."

The Wendy Novak Diabetes Institute is the official charitable partner of this year's ISCO Championship at Hurstbourne Country Club.
