LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Ā Jeffersonville police say they've arrested eight members of a drug dealing organization.
Investigators say they broke up the group known as the "Money Hungry Gangstas," by using undercover officers to buy crack cocaine and heroin from the suspects.
Officers focused on the Greenwood Apartments area, where police say most of the drug activity took place.
Jeffersonville police worked with FBI agents, targeting the alleged gang after one of the gang'sĀ alleged suppliers, Cleveland D. Williams Jr. was arrested April 24th on federal cocaine distribution charges.Ā
Police say Williams and other associates were in charge of the alleged illegal activities at the apartment complex. Williams, MHG members, and their associates.Ā During the investigation police say many of the suspects arrested sold illegal drugs to investigators on numerous occasions resulting in additional charges.
Police arrested the following people during a 2-day period:

- Damon G. Walls, 30, Jeffersonville ā Dealing in a substance represented to be a controlled substance, Habitual Substance Offender

- Shanice M. Pratt, 22, Jeffersonville ā Dealing in Cocaine

- Sheron N. Green 35, Jeffersonville ā Dealing in Cocaine Habitual Substance Offender

- John S. Sims, 50, Jeffersonville ā Dealing in Cocaine (2 Counts)
Jeffersonville Police says they're still looking for two other suspects involved in the investigation.
