LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former Louisville councilwoman who once served as deputy chief of staff for Mayor Craig Greenberg's administration is running to get her Metro Council seat back.
Keisha Dorsey left her District 3 seat in 2023 to join the Greenberg administration.
Dorsey filed two ethics complaints related to discrimination. She was fired by the administration in August 2024 over alleged misconduct and job performance issues.
The mayor's office denied those allegations and the city’s Internal Audit office never investigated the claims.
The city recently filed a lawsuit against her claiming wage fraud, accusing Dorsey of logging hours she didn't work.
Dorsey is also suing Greenberg and other staff members, claiming defamation, discrimination and a hostile work environment.
"I could have pursued other paths," Dorsey said on social media. "But power without accountability is performance. And our community deserves substance over spectacle."
