LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they found more than just drugs during a narcotics investigation at a Louisville hotel: they found several women acting as prostitutes.

It happened at the Baymont Inn on Signature Drive, near the interchange between I-65 and Fern Valley Road, Friday night.

Police say they went to room 205 and allegedly found 35-year-old Daral Wallace inside the room, along with heroin and needles.

They also found four women in that room with Wallace, as well as in room 204, who allegedly told officers they had engaged in sexual relations in exchange for money.

Police say they had previously witnessed Wallace driving a 2005 black Chevy while delivering heroin. Wallace was arrested and charged with trafficking in heroin, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and complicity to prostitution.

While officers were investigating, they say someone in nearby room 202 threw a 9mm semi-automatic handgun out of the window and into the bushes. Police say that person was 36-year-old Antwan Trammel, a convicted felon from Los Angeles. He was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and tampering with physical evidence, according to an arrest report.

The four alleged prostitutes were cited and released.
