LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new bluegrass and folk music festival is coming to the Bluegrass.

Officials with Paristown in Louisville announced the inaugural Uncle Boojie's Roots Revue on Tuesday.

The two-day music festival will "feature the best of Bluegrass, Roots and Folk music and Bourbon" over Memorial Day weekend, May 24-25, in Paristown.

"Roots Revue will bring together two-days of live music in the heart of Paristown, further creating and building an annual home for bluegrass music in the state of the Bluegrass," Steve Smith, managing partner, said in a news release.

The festival will feature bluegrass and acoustic artists from across the region, as well as food and cocktails.

The lineup includes artists like The Seldom Scene, John Cowan's Newgrass All Stars, Darrell Scott, the Po' Ramblin Boys, Mama Said String Band, Steve Cooley & Company, Bibelhauser Brothers, Gary Brewer & The Kentucky Ramblers, and the Dean Osborne Band.

Organizers said the festival will also benefit the Kentucky School of Bluegrass and Traditional Music, which will also have their Mountain Traditional Ensemble among the festival's performers.

The festival will also feature a lineup of vendors selling vintage goods, records, and more. There will also be a silent disco, yoga, and a cigar lounge.

Tickets for the festival are already on sale. General admission weekend tickets are $25 and include free admission for kids 10 and under with an adult ticket. Kids over 10 cost $10 for youth general admission. There are also weekend parking passes available for $15, and a VIP bundle for $85.
