LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - It's not even Thanksgiving, but that didn't stop one community from getting a jump start on the holidays.
Sunday began the Celebration of Lights in downtown Shelbyville.
The mayor says it's the kick off to the holiday season for the residents of Shelby County.
They don't really advertise the event. It's basically spread by word of mouth, but each year more and more people attend.
The mayor says thankfully the weather cooperated, and they didn't have rain or snow.
