LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Every ticket to the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club comes with free parking. However, that parking is about 18 mile west of the course.

There is no parking on-site at Valhalla, and drop-offs or walk-ins aren't allowed either. All fans attending the PGA Championship must either use the rideshare option below or park at the Kentucky Exposition Center using the Main Gate and Gate 6.

"They start before gates open (and) they run past gates closing," Championship Director Ryan Ogle said Tuesday. "So you're never going to have a time where you can't get a ride, and we make it continuous. So your wait for those shuttles is going to be minimal."

Below are the shuttle hours for tournament week:

  • Monday
    • 7:15 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday
    • 6:45 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday and Friday
    • 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday
    • 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Uber, Lyft or Z-Trip riders will be dropped off and picked up at the PGA Championship's "Official Rideshare" lot located across Shelbyville Road from Valhalla along Beckley Creek Parkway. Riders should enter "2024 PGA Championship" as a destination when searching for a ride, and the driver will be routed there. From the lot on Beckley Creek Parkway, fans will enter Valhalla through the Main Spectator Entrance.

The rideshare drop-off and pick-up option is a first for the PGA Championship in Louisville.

"Short walk, maybe about five minutes to the main gate," Ogle said. "Then, you'll experience the main entrance here at Valhalla, see the first impressions at Valhalla. So it's a very convenient option that we didn't have and are excited about having."

While the PGA Championship recognizes the challenges of parking and transportation at the 2024 tournament in Louisville, officials said it's the common hurdle at most host clubs.
