LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The New Albany-Floyd County animal services has voted to suspend services because of a financial dispute.

That means beginning Nov. 20, parts of Floyd County will not have animal services.

Shelter drop-offs and stray animal calls are restricted only to those who live in the New Albany city limits. That's because of a lawsuit between the city and the county.

The county is being accused of *not paying about 150-thousand dollars for its share of animal control.
