LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The East End tunnel is scheduled to close Tuesday night.
Crews will be making emergency repairs in the southbound tunnel that connects Indiana to Kentucky. It is scheduled to close from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Interstate 265 East will be closed just after Old Salem Road. The roadway will be closed after Exit 11 for Utica and River Road, which is the last exit ramp before the bridge.
Drivers are encouraged to use I-65 South to cross the river into Kentucky as a detour.
